What do you find out about me?
Three different ways, depending on what you do.
Filling in the form hands over whatever you typed: a name, a telephone number, an email address if you chose to add one, the town from the dropdown, the situation from the dropdown, and any free text.
Ringing the number produces a recording of the conversation plus a log entry holding the originating number, when the call happened, how long it lasted and which page was open when you dialled. A notice plays first. Michigan’s eavesdropping law is read strictly, so that notice is treated here as a requirement rather than a nicety.
Just reading produces the ordinary traces any web server sees. Rough geography, what browser and device, which pages, and which site sent you. No name attaches to any of it.
Who else ends up with it?
Four parties, all named rather than hidden behind the phrase service providers.
A roofing business. One independent company working in southwest Michigan, which needs your enquiry in order to ring you. Once it has your details it is responsible for them under its own arrangements, because it is somebody else’s company.
CallRail, whose platform supplies the number and stores the recordings and call logs.
Cloudflare, which serves these pages and runs the Turnstile challenge stopping robots submitting the form.
Google Analytics 4 by way of Cloudflare Zaraz, which counts the visits described above.
Nobody buys any of it. It does not get shared out among several contractors so they can compete over you. No advertising or retargeting tags run anywhere on this site.
How long before it is gone?
Form submissions last up to four hundred days and are then deleted. Recordings and call logs live with the call platform on its retention settings. Analytics survives only in aggregate.
What about cookies?
Analytics sets an identifier so visits can be counted. The call platform sets one so a call can be tied back to the visit that caused it. Turnstile runs at the moment you press submit. None of it serves advertising, and should that ever change, the tool will be named on this page before it starts rather than afterwards.
How do I get rid of it?
Write to info@arcadiacreekroofing.com and say which you want: erase it, show me what you hold, or stop contacting me. A stop contacting me instruction is carried out here and forwarded to the roofing business that received the enquiry.
Michigan has no broad consumer privacy statute at present of the kind some states operate. These routes work anyway, wherever you live.
Do you collect anything from children?
No. The site is not aimed at them and nothing is knowingly collected from anyone under sixteen.
